You have the freedom of choice to select any repair facility, once you have notified State Farm. Our Select Service program gives you the option of taking your vehicle directly to a Select Service repairer at a time that is convenient for you.

Repairers selected to participate in this program offer convenience and repair quality assurance to our customers. We provide you with information about our Auto Damage Service Program so that you can make an informed choice.

State Farm also encourages open discussions of damage appraisal and repair questions with our customers and their selected repairers.

Who Will Prepare The Estimate?

The Select Service repairer will prepare an estimate and has agreed to repair your vehicle in a quality manner.

If You Choose Select Service And Your Vehicle Is Driveable

• Schedule an appointment with a Select Service repairer.
• The repairer will prepare its estimate and provide you with a copy.
• With your authorization, the repairer will schedule a date to repair your vehicle and order any parts that are needed.
• When you are satisfied with completed repairs, you pay any applicable deductible and take delivery of your vehicle. State Farm pays the balance of accident-related repair costs directly to the repairer.

If You Choose Select Service And Your Vehicle Is Not Driveable

• After delivery of your vehicle to a Select Service repairer, the repairer will prepare its estimate and provide you with a copy.
• With your authorization, the repairer will order parts and begin repairs.
• When you are satisfied with completed repairs, you pay any applicable deductible and take delivery of your vehicle. State Farm pays the balance of accident-related repair costs directly to the repairer.

State Farm monitors Select Service repairers for quality through random vehicle inspections.

Is There Any Type Of Warranty Provided On The Repairs To My Vehicle?

Each Select Service repair facility agrees to provide the vehicle owner with a written, national limited lifetime repair warranty for workmanship, including refinishing for all completed repairs for as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

What If I Need To Rent A Vehicle?

Please contact your State Farm Claim Associate to discuss coverage for a rental vehicle.

What If I Do Not Choose A Select Service Repairer?

If you do not choose a Select Service repairer, State Farm will provide you a detailed repair estimate, using prevailing competitive prices. In rural markets, repair estimates from local repairers may be used to assist us in determining the amount we owe.
